Green, Red, and Yellow Herbs (Resident Evil shots)
Ingredients:Green Herb: 1 part Midori1 part Green Apple Pucker___
Red Herb:1 part Grenadine1 part 5 Hour Energy - Berry flavored___
Yellow Herb:1 part Gold rum (Bacardi Gold used)1 part Honey bourbon (American Honey used)
Directions: For each individual shot, simply mix ingredients in a test tube shot glass. To create herb combinations, mix the shots up in separate glasses, the layer them according to density. Red is the heaviest and will always go on the bottom, Green is the next heaviest, and Yellow is the lightest. For the best effect when layering, make sure all your ingredients are chilled beforehand. Tilt the test tubes and pour the shots in so that they slide down the side of the tube.
Notes: I’ve had the idea for these shots for almost as long as The Drunken Moogle has existed, but refused to do so until I got the proper glassware. I modeled the herbs after my favorite Resident Evil game, Resident Evil 4. Green- The basic herb. It’s nice nice and soothing.Red- The catalyst herb. Alone, it will do nothing for you (thus the lack of alcohol and addition of caffeine in this shot), but mix it with a green herb and you’ll get something new.Yellow- The stat increase herb. This shot won’t increase your overall health, but it’s certainly the strongest herb out of the three shots. Mix it with Green or both Green and Red for a strength boost.
